Big Jays Chicken And Shrimp

I'd driven past Big Jay's countless times and there always seemed to be someone in the drive through and parked for carryout. We tried them out for some Friday fish and we were not disappointed! Catfish nuggets were nicely seasoned, even my picky 2yo had a few pieces. My husband ordered 2 po boys because he thought they would be small for their price, but they were good sized sandwiches for under $4! Ordering online was easy and it was hot and ready at pickup. We will be back again 🐟🍤

I visited Big Jay's because my Mother loves Buffalo Fish & had been getting it from a popular Supermarket, but for the past month or so, they had not been receiving any deliveries. My Mother got her Buffalo Fish every Fri like clock work, but she was being disappointed not being able to get it from her usual place, so I took it upon myself to give Big Jay's a call, because I remembered seeing Buffalo Fish on their website menu. When I called & was told that "Yes" they carried Buffalo Fish, U didn't have to tell me twice. I headed there with her & she was able to purchase her Buffalo Fish & not only that, but we also ordered Sweet Potato Pie, Banana Pudding, & to my Mother's surprise a hard Cinnamon Candy Apple which she had been searching for yrs for, but could only find the Caramel Candy Apples. Big Jay's is now my Mother's Go-To spot for Fried Buffalo Fish, Sweet Potato Pie & Old Fashioned Hard Cinnamon Candy Apples. The food was seasoned perfectly, the portions were plenty, & the prices were extremely reasonable & on top of that the service was A-1. It's Family run & it shows, because they care about giving their customers good, quality service & great food!!!! As long as my Mother is happy & satisfied, that's all that matters to me, so Big Jay's has 5Stars allday everyday with me!!!

I ordered a fish combo today that comes with one side and one drink. When I got my order, I didn’t receive my drink.. . Asked the drive through worker about my drink and he said it didn’t come with a drink and slammed the window in my face… This happened around 1:25pm 12/05/23. The worker was very disrespectful.. Their menu is very misleading

This was my first visit to Big Jay's. The lot and lobby area were clean which is my first observation everywhere I go. The prices are reasonable and my food was cooked to order in such a timely manner. I got a lunch combo of 2 Whiting filets with fries and a soda of my choice was included. I also took advantage of the Tuesday special $.99 jumbo shrimp. Pickles, onions, bread, hot sauce, ketchup, and tartar! *CHECK OUT MY PICTURES!*
